We gladly welcome Scarpelli Funeral Homes as a new shirt sponsor for 2017 Howard's Run Festival. Founded over 60 years ago as an independent, family-owned business, the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. has established a tradition of providing personal and caring services to those who call upon them for assistance with funeral planning. One Main, Alcova Mortgage Official Festival Sponsors

One Main (formerly One Main Financial) and Alcova Mortgage have returned as sponsors for this year's festivities and have signed on as official festival sponsors. One Main and Alcova Mortgage's continued support allows us up the ante on our course record kitty this year, raising the course record bonus to $200 for breaking the mens' or womens' course records for the Hunter Douglas Howard's 25K. Additionally, we will be offering tech material race shirts for our 25K and 5K participants, another upgrade thanks to the generous support of our sponsors!

Potomac Farms Renews 5K Name Sponsor

We are pleased to announce that Potomac Farms Dairy, a division of Gallikers, has renewed their name sponsorship of the Paws on the Pavement 5K. Potomac Farms was the name sponsor for our inaugural running last year, and we are pleased to receive their commitment for 2017. Potomac Farms not only supplied funding for the event but also supplied chocolate milk for all the runners last year and even fielded a corporate team for the 5K!

Since the weather made our 25K even more challenging, no one was able to break the current course records. That means for 2017, the Break the Bank Kitty will increase another $100! Our first male and female 25K runners to cross the finish line will receive an additional $200 should they break the respective course records as well as cashing in on the $100 for capturing first place!
