Registration for Howard's Run Festival is open February 1st through August 19th. Early bird registration, from February 1, 2017 to July 31, 2017 will be $40 for the Hunter Douglas Howard's 25K Run. Registration from August 1, 2017 to August 19, 2017 will be $50. This event is limited to the first 300 entrants. Participants will receive an official race shirt, finisher's medal and goodie bag with sponsor coupons and literature as well as a light post-race buffet. Registration is available online through runsignup.com or by mail-in form. Registration fees are non-refundable however deferments will be addressed on a case by case basis. Transfers will be allowed by consent of the race directors. There is no race day registration! Last chance to register for the 25K or 5K race is August 19 from 4-7pm at packet pick-up/pasta dinner at the Crabby Pig (in person, cash or check only). Online registration ends Friday night, August 18th at 12:00 Midnight.

The same registration form is used for Potomac Farm Paws on the Pavement 5K. Registration dates are the same as the 25K with fees $20 for early bird enrollment and $25 for standard registration. Participants will receive an official race shirt and goodie bag as well as post-race buffet. As per the 25K event, registration fees are non-refundable with deferments and transfers allowed on a case by case basis.

Please note registration for the pre-race dinner is also available through runsignup.com and the mail-in form. The cost is $10 and is not included in either race registration. Pre-race dinner will be a pasta dinner served at packet pickup Saturday, August 19th from 5-7pm. This fee is non-refundable, non-deferable, and non-transferable.

Note: The mail-in registration form is a PDF document and requires a PDF reader such as Adobe Reader to view the file. Most modern browsers have this plug-in enabled. If you do not have Adobe Reader, go here to download. The mail-in registration is also interactive and has fillable fields and functional checkboxes so you can fill it out on your computer and print out a completed entry form.

Most of the items on the online and mail-in registration are pretty self explanatory. If you are a member of a running club, please fill out the club affiliation line. Please note this year's registration form is for both events, but you may only register one particpant per form.

Preferred packet pick-up is a pretty important one. We will be offering packet pick-up on Saturday from 4-7pm and Sunday morning just before the race from 6-7am. Saturday pick up will also serve as last minute registration and will be held at Canal Place (outside at the ranger station or inside at Crabby Pig in the case of inclement weather). Race day pick up will be held at Canal Place near the finish line. Regardless which day you choose, please remember to bring your confirmation as proof of your registration. Confirmations will be emailed to the address you provide on your registration.
